During the current horrendous war in Ukraine, I am honored to create this exquisite Peace Iris used to illustrate music by a Ukrainian-born composer living in America. Never have we needed prayers for peace more than at this moment in history.

This glorious Easter Iris was growing in my mother-in-law's garden, and she graciously allowed me to pick it one spring day. When the photograph was developed, we ALL noticed that it resembled a figure bowing in prayer.
